1980s Russian Photo Album

Illustrated floral design with some light wear to covers. 21 leaves, all but three filled with 86 (mostly) black and white photographs of various sizes, affixed to pages (recto and verso), plus two additional loose photos laid in. The album covers the years 1980-1986 and is split into two distinct sections: Meets and Competitions and Celebrations and Parties. Many pages have handwritten annotations in Russian. A nicely organized album filled with evocative images of sport and leisure in Gorbachev era/Cold War Soviet Union. Item #476
