About Us

 

Keith Botelho is the owner of Crow Hop Rare Books, located in Cherokee County, Georgia, just north of Atlanta. Born and raised in New England, he had the great fortune of learning the trade under the tutelage of a number of dealers, including ABAA members in Rhode Island and New Hampshire. While writing his doctoral dissertation, he worked at a small-town library as well as at an antiques and auction business as a book cataloger. In 2017, he attended the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS) on the ABAA Southeast Chapter Scholarship. 

Specialties and interests include: African Americana, LGBTQ+, popular culture,  American social and cultural movements, archival collections, photography, and other unusual paper ephemera.
