70 pieces total, including certificates of title, bankruptcy notices, typed and handwritten letters, many signed, from numerous law offices in Rhode Island (John Mahoney, Esq. is prevalent), New York, and Connecticut, deeds, writs, trustee’s bonds, bond applications, an affidavit for a search warrant, postmarked postcards, and business cards. Highlights include four TLS on Ladies’ Catholic Benevolent Association of Troy, NY letterhead regarding a death claim (other letters reference this case as well), a Massachusetts Bonding and Insurance Company application for a Providence, RI Ice Cream Manufacture Company, a 1921 Pawtucket, RI affidavit for a search warrant for a house in “possession of certain distilled spirits,” and a 1912 TLS from The New England Steamship Co. Claim Department in Providence, RI to a Mrs. William Henderson of Newport, stating that they are not liable for the death of her husband. An intriguing collection. Item #374
