With Pocket Inserts entitled “My General Junk” (which includes two 1952-1953 Elementary Class National Piano Playing Audition Certificates, a letter from Santa Claus and his helpers at the Columbus, GA post office, and a 1957 Underwater Fantasy at Camp Chattooga menu), “Trip Trophies” (including a July 17, 1957 Southern Railway System ticket from Atlanta and more than 20 brochures from sights in Virginia and Florida), and “Fascinating Fan Mail” (including 5 letters and 2 postcards). Highlights include 8” x 10” black and white photos of students in Vacation Bible School at Bleecker, AL, 2 piano recitals (1950-1952), and 3 group photos of young girls and their female counselors at Camp Chattooga for Girls in northwest GA (July-August 1957); also included are photos of Mt. Clayton and the Blue Ridge Mountains, a Horse Show, and numerous pictures of classmates and family. 76 images in all, 2/3 of which are loosely laid-in, the remaining corner mounted. A wonderful snapshot of a young Southern girl and her travels in the 1950s. Item #260
