Bullins (1935-2021), who the New York Times called "among the most significant Black playwrights of the 20th century and a leading voice in the Black Arts Movement of the 1960s and '70s," won three Obie Awards and retired in 2012 as a theater professor at Northeastern University in Boston.
Currently the only signed or inscribed copy in the trade. An early inscription by Bullins, who at the time (1967-1973) was living in New York City and at the peak of his career, writing mostly at the New Lafayette Theater. Item #1292
