This is an account of the process of inventing the sixty-two images for L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz taken directly from the day book that Moser kept to chronicle his work, referencing the likes of Ben Shahn, M.F.K. Fischer, Walker Evans, and George Cress while detailing how he modeled some of his images after contemporaries such as Jerry Falwell, George Bush, Alexander Haig, Edwin Meese, and Lee Iacocca. Published in the same year as the Pennyroyal Oz, which included 62 wood engravings by Moser. Scarce signed. Item #49
